Shawn Krause-Roberts, PT, MPT, ATC, LSVT/BIG certified

Shawn has been the CEO, Physical Therapist, and Athletic Trainer of OSPTI for nearly 20 years. As a physical therapist she enjoys the variety of patients and the community support she receives from being in the Breckenridge-Wahpeton Community. Shawn received her graduate degree in PT from the College of St. Scholastica in 1999 and her BA from St. Cloud State University in Biomedical Science, Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. She had several years of orthopedic, sports, and neuro work experience throughout MN/ND/SD prior to opening OSPTI. Shawn and her husband Chris own and operate OSPTI and live in Breckenridge with their three children. They enjoy time together participating in the activities throughout the twin towns and their time at the lakes.

Kim, a Physical Therapy Assistant, has been with OSPTI since 2003. She graduated from Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, SD with an Associates of Applied Science Degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Her interests include: orthopedics, back rehab with training in the Pilates method for core strengthening, geriatrics and pediatrics. Kim is certified in the LVST BIG program, a program specialized in treating patients with Parkinson’s Disease. She lives in Breckenridge with her husband and two daughters.

Becky grew up in Wahpeton and graduated with her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2001. She received her certification in lymphedema and edema management in 2002 from the Academy of Lymphatic Studies, and is certified in the LSVT BIG program for patients with Parkinson’s Disease. Becky has worked in outpatient orthopedics for most of her career, including Altru’s Rehabilitation Center in Grand Forks and Essentia Health in West Fargo, ND prior to joining the OSPTI team in 2012. Becky enjoys helping to serve patients in her home community, and lives in Wahpeton with her husband and two children.

Rizzi Heger, PTA

Rizzi is currently a Physical Therapy Assistant. She graduated from Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN in May 2009 with an Associates of Applied Science as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She has worked with Courage Duluth and at the Inline Skating Marathon in Duluth, MN as a medical staff volunteer. Her therapy interests consist of Orthopedics and Sport Medicine. Rizzi also specializes in Postural Restoration and Strain-Counterstrain techniques. She has an interest in sports including volleyball, basketball, biking, swimming and half marathons. She lives in Wahpeton with her husband and 3 children.

Tera graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2005 with a Doctorate in Physical therapy. As a former collegiate volleyball player and current coach, she has a special interest in Sports Medicine. Tera has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient rehab, outpatient orthopedics, nursing home and home health. Tera’s work experience includes Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ; Spooner Physical Therapy in Phoenix, AZ; OSI Physical Therapy in the Twin Cities, and Altru Health System in Grand Forks prior to coming to work for OSPTI. Tera enjoys working in rural ND where she is able to treat patients throughout their lifespan. Tera lives in Hankinson, ND with her husband, son and daughter.

Stacie is an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She is originally from Breckenridge, and graduated from North Dakota State College of Science, in Wahpeton in 2012 with an Associates in Applied Science as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Her clinical experience included Moorhead Public Schools and St. Catherine’s Living Center, Wahpeton. Stacie also worked at OSPTI as a therapy aide before joining the OSPTI therapy team. Her interests include: pediatrics, orthopedics and worksite wellness. She currently lives in Breckenridge with her husband and two sons.

Alison is an Occupational Therapist, she graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Masters of Science in 2002, with an undergraduate degree in biology from Luther College in Iowa in 1999. Her area of focus throughout her career has been in pediatrics. Work experience includes Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, Park Nicollet Clinics- Pediatric Rehabilitation, in Burnsville, MN and Fraser School in Richfield, MN. Areas of interest in therapy include sensory integration, working on fine motor skills, social skills, feeding, and early intervention for children showing delays in typical development. Alison is excited to expand the pediatric OT program at OSPTI. Alison lives in Wyndmere, ND with her husband and three children.

Desiree Wildeman has a Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. Her previous work experience includes outpatient pediatrics at Pediatric Therapy Partners in Fargo, ND and past clinical experience at Ely Bloomenson Community Hospital in Ely, MN. She has an interest in orthopedics, work site wellness, and pediatrics. Desiree lives in Wahpeton with her husband and three children.

Kelsey Wienbar is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience working with patients of all ages. Kelsey enjoys spending time with her family and summer weekends at Ottertail Lake. She lives in Breckenridge with her two children.

Tori recently graduated from NDSCS in 2016 as a COTA. She completed her fieldworks at Beyond Boundaries in Fargo working with pediatrics, and Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls working with geriatric/physical disabilities. She enjoys spending my free time with friends and family, fishing, shopping, and weekends at the lake. Tori recently moved into a house in Breckenridge with her husband, dog and two children.

Samantha Schreiner is originally from Kent, Minnesota and graduated from Breckenridge Senior High School. She has earned her Liberal Arts Degree from North Dakota State College of Science before heading to Minnesota State University of Moorhead where she earned a bachelor degree in Speech- Language and Hearing Science. She received clinical hours at Ellen Hopkins Elementary School in Moorhead, Minnesota. Samantha enjoys spending time with family, friends, her dog Jax, and running. Samantha resides in Breckenridge with her husband and two children.

Gwen attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and then her Doctorate of Physcial Therapy in 2012. Since graduation she has worked in Fergus Falls, MN primarily in Geriatrics and Home Health. Gwen enjoys working with balance and fall prevention, orthopedic conditions, and helping people reduce their pain and improve their mobility. She is excited to be working with a large variety of people of all ages and conditions at OSPTI, and is looking forward to helping the Fergus Falls clinic continue to grow. A personal bit of information about Gwen is she is originally from Bismarck, ND. She currently keeps pretty busy chasing after her three young children. She also enjoys spending time outdoors and at the lake.

Kaylen graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Jamestown in Fargo, ND. She graduated with her undergrad in Athletic Training from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA. Before joining the OSPTI team Kaylen worked in an outpatient pediatric setting in Northwood, ND. She has a special interest in pediatrics, with experience with developmental delay and sensory integration disorders. Kaylen is originally from Pewaukee, WI. She and her boyfriend currently live in Battle Lake, MN area. Her hobbies are spending time at the lake, wake surfing, spending time with family and friends.

Tiffany graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. She graduated with her undergrad in Exercise Science from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. Before joining the OSPTI team, Tiffany worked in an outpatient setting in Arvada, CO. She has a special interest in pelvic health, with experience with treating urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, and pregnancy/postpartum related conditions. Tiffany is originally from Moorhead, MN. She and her husband currently live in the Pelican Rapids, MN area. Her hobbies include golfing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Kristi graduated in Occupational therapy from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND. She has an interest in lymphedema, orthopedics, and people of all ages.

Karlene graduated with both her masters of occupational therapy degree and undergraduate degree from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. Before joining the OSPTI team, Karlene worked at an outpatient pediatric setting in Fargo, ND. She has special interests in pediatric incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction and helping patients of all ages increase their independence and return to what they enjoy doing. Karlene is originally from Hankinson, ND. And now live there with her husband and daughter. She is very excited to be back in her hometown, to be able to serve patients in her home community and surrounding areas. When Karlene is not working with her patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting, and competing DIY projects.

Taylor graduated with a doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Jamestown in Fargo, ND. He has been practicing as a Physical Therapist for a year! He has special interests ranging form pediatrics to geriatrics. Taylor and his wife currently live in their hometown of Barnesville, MN. His hobbies include hunting, being at the lake, and spending time outdoors with his dog!
