OSPTI History

OSPTI opened its doors in 2003 operating out of an 800 sq. ft. facility with two employees. In 2005 we built a new facility and grew to four employees. We opened a satellite location in Hankinson, North Dakota in 2006 which is an outpatient clinic attached to a nursing home for which we provide rehab. Construction on an expansion was completed on our office in Breckenridge in 2008; providing us with a 6600 sq. ft. modern facility that includes a pool for aquatic therapy. In 2015, OSPTI in Hankinson, ND was remodeled by the Hankinson/Lidgerwood Rural Health Clinic Board to include an increase to 5 treatment rooms, a large therapy gym space, and several exercise machines. There are currently 4-5 employees on staff in our Hankinson office. The addition of our OSPTI Training Center was finished in 2016. The Training Center offers exercise training programs featuring CORMAX applied training systems, along with personalized workouts, and nutritional counseling from our personal trainers. In 2018, we expanded our services in Fergus Falls, MN. It is has been great to treat patients from Fergus Falls and surrounding communities. OSPTI currently has more than 23 employees including qualified physical therapists and assistants, occupational therapists and assistants, a speech therapist and assistant, massage therapist, a certified athletic trainer, a personal trainer, and great support staff. OSPTI also has several contracts serving area schools for students with special needs. We work with companies regarding ergonomics, safety, and wellness information, as well as participate in many community organizations and events.
