For the beginner runner to learn proper technique with video taping, warm up, pre and post stretching, and overall progression to running increasing distances. Instruction in shoe wear and some fun cross training will also be performed. You will take part in weekly checks, be given a 2 week running schedule to complete and make a goal of planning at least one 5k/3.2 mile race in late summer or fall once completed with the program. Sign-up with a partner for motivation and encouragement!!
